Middlesbrough agree Young fee
Middlesbrough have agreed a £2.5million fee with Charlton Athletic for Luke Young.
Addicks boss Alan Pardew recently admitted that he would be willing to leave the former Spurs defender leave the club to play Premiership football.
The England international only signed a new four-year contract last summer, but following their relegation to the Championship, he is set to travel to the Riverside Stadium to discuss personal terms.
Middlesbrough are keen to strengthen the right side of their defense after Stuart Parnaby and Abel Xavier left the club over the course of the summer.
Young joined Charlton in a £3million deal from Tottenham six years ago and he has made over 200 appearances for the club.

If he regains the form he showed when he found himself in the England side, £2.5m will be a bargain. What do you think?
